Hi, I'm Halil👋🏻

I'm a software engineer who primarily works with React and React Native. Lately, I've been more interested in backend/systems developement where I experiment with Golang,C and Zig. I enjoy problem-solving, understanding how something works under the hood and different approaches to software development. Vim user btw and passionate Windows hater(for dev, it's fine for games).

Outside of work, I like running, hiking, and playing football, and I enjoy watching T1 in League of Legends. I keep myself learning and moving forward by picking up new skills and knowledge whenever I can.

    Open source contributor

As a contributor, I helped with both documentation and functionality. Started the documentation roadmap discussion and gave idea about initial template for ‘Getting started’ page.

On the technical side, I resolved many bugs that were either introduced when maxGraph was ported into Typescript or there were bugs in the original mxGraph repository. Some of the issues tackled:

    • Improve rotation handle and rotation functionality for shapes
    • Improve UX for iOS based Touch devices on pan and zoom gestures.
    • Fixed Storybook related bugs that were causing demos to be buggy.
